Oh gosh I guess my 2 year Gaiaversary did just happen!! I don’t know when the actual day is, but I think my very first item was released around this time in 2011. Thank you so much Py, and whoever this birdie is *EYES SHAVO SUSPICIOUSLY* for thinking of me. I know I don’t blog about Gaia here too much, but it’s seriously the best. Best most talented people I’ve ever had the honor to work with, and everyone is so thoughtful and supportive and strives so hard to put their absolute greatest work out there. I’ve learned so much about art, design, and the importance of time management over the last two years. You guys have made me a better artist and a better, much more professional person, and I’m so grateful to be a part of Gaia. Also, Py, you are not old, you’re beautiful and look younger than me, and don’t you deny it ‘cause it’s true. ♡

I got to design two monsters for GaiaOnline’s Fantasy RPG themed CI, Gauntlets&Goblins! A Rat Guard and Ice Basilisk! Here they are from the sketches, to finished CG, to how they look in the final screens for the game.
Needless to say, this CI is now my favorite I’ve ever worked on. *____* I loooove tabletop RPG! Been waiting for a long time to make a CI with this theme.

YESSS, FINALLY! I’ve been hiding my excitement for this since December! I only worked on a few items for the Gaia Online Adventure Time CI, (all of Ice Queen’s and Prince Gumball’s items) but I’m super excited to see everything everyone worked so hard on released today. I was invited to a life drawing party at Gaia HQ last week! It was one of the most interesting life drawing sessions I’ve ever been to, since the models brought costumes for some of the poses. Never got to draw stuff like this in school.
Alfie and the White Rabbit nurse from the Underland CI, in the pose of the famous photograph V-J Day in Times Square by Alfred Eisenstaedt. Their sad story gives it a much different feeling.
I designed the White Rabbit, and Reapersun designed Alfie. Characters belong to Gaia! And you can read their story here.
